I was almost right!

Hey 2 out of 3 isn't bad especially when you like the third! I am almost psychic. I added a playlist to my blog but I don't have time right now to really pick my favorite songs....so I just added a few from the top of my head. Do y'all hate playlists? If anyone cares let me know. Idol Week 2

Well all I can say about this week is blahhhh. I'm definitely not as excited about anyone as I am about Danny. But I will pick the 3 that I think should make it through:

1. Allison pink hair
2. Megan tattoo
3. Adam black nail polish

And I also like the guy that I had never seen before...Kris I think. but I don't think he'll make it. I used to like Matt (the welder) but his bald sweaty head kind of turned me off and I don't think I can look at that every week. That's mean but true.

You will NEVER guess what I saw today coming back from lunch.....we were driving down Green Oaks/Meadowbrook right by the Chicken Express for you who know the area....and there was a man walking down the street with a dog on a leash and...............wait for it............................

A SNAKE WRAPPED AROUND HIS SHOULDERS!!!

Can you believe the crazy we have going on around here?! A snake! Seriously! And it was a very long, thick, ugly monster of a snake. I almost crashed the car trying to do a double take. I guess that's what he wanted....attention. Why else would you walk around with a snake around your neck? Snakes don't need to go for walks. You can't go into the Target or the Chicken Express with a snake. Unbelievable. Goodbye.

So I have booked my trip to the Bahamas!! I'm super excited! April 18-22 my 2 friends and I will be going to Grand Bahama Island! So I have 2 months to keep working out to get one-piece swimsuit ready. Not bikini ready. So we will consider #4 on my list checked off!

Yesterday at work I had the following conversation with an 82 y/o patient with "suspected" dementia. You be the judge...

Me: "Why don't you tell me some of your favorite foods...." trying to elicit naming

Him: "Worms"

Me: "Don't be silly you don't eat worms!"

Him: "Yes I do, sometimes I use them as a seasoning."

I'm so glad Danny made it!!! And my other pick Michael made it too so that was fantastic. I think that Alexis is good but I don't enjoy her look. I feel sorry for Anoop :(

On another note, if you refer to my post about what I want to do in 2009 I belive that #4 was to go on a cool trip....I am in the process of arranging a trip to the Bahamas! YAY!!! I will let you know when it's final!

Today at work....

I actually said these words:

I think that I'm going to make this a new feature on my blog. Maybe my only feature. I know I say some of the weirdest things at work and I really need to start writing them down. This was actually not said to a patient, it was said to our neuropsychologist!! HA! And it was a very realistic explanation that included model airplanes or boats or something like that.

I know I haven't blogged in a while but guess what will make me blog more???? AMERICAN IDOL! I have to say I am not quite as excited about it this year as I have been in season's past, but I do have 2 early favorites....Danny whose wife died and the oil roughneck I think his name is Michael. I honestly can't remember the names of any of the girls except for the one that I HATE who I will leave out of this post. Have a great weekend!
